The process of DNA testing is very complicated and good procedures are necessary for laboratories to provide accurate results. Accreditation is your guarantee that those procedures are in place and are followed.
Compliance with Family Law Act 1975 & Regulations
All scientific and reporting procedures conducted by DNA Labs comply with the Family Law Act (1975) and Regulations and reports are admissible as evidence to the Family Court and Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA)
DNA Labs has the highest possible level of accreditation from NATA, Australia's government-endorsed provider of accreditation for laboratories. (ISO/IEC Guide 17025 for Parentage Testing and Molecular Genetic Diagnostic Testing)
In order to keep this accreditation, our labs are inspected regularly and our results checked carefully by independent NATA staff.
